I'm Stephane, working on the Faust language (Functional Audio Stream), a functional programming language for sound synthesis and audio processing with a strong focus on the design of synthesizers, musical instruments, audio effects, etc. created at the GRAME-CNCM Research Department (https://faust.grame.fr).

I'm sure we can establish interesting connections between the two approaches, like developing bridges the way we do with other audio DSP languages (see for example with CMajor here: https://faustdoc.grame.fr/tutorials/cmajor/), or at least share ideas on the languages design and properties.
